COLLABORATION AND INVESTMENT

Developing opportunities from land to market.

We seek partnerships to develop our agricultural activity in Najd, from crop handling and marketing to protected farming and forage, guided by each project’s feasibility and resources.

DIRECTIONS FOR FEASIBILITY STUDY

From the crop to the market

We are exploring collaboration in production, handling and marketing. Scale, funding and partnership structures follow feasibility assessment; this page is not an open subscription offer and states no investment returns.

BUILDING ON OUR CROP RANGE

Onion and garlic preparation

A pathway for sorting, curing and packing to buyer specifications. Handling and storage capacity would be sized around actual harvest volumes and sales timing.

Before implementation

Trial a small batch with a buyer, measuring losses, cost and product quality before expansion.

FROM HARVEST TO MARKET

Melon and watermelon supply

Collaboration on seasonal harvest scheduling, grading, packing and transport, aligned with variety, maturity and market demand. Handling conditions would be defined for each crop.

Before implementation

Agree buyer specifications, volumes and delivery windows, then assess transport cost and the saleable share.

PILOT BEFORE SCALE

Greenhouse project

A plan for 500 greenhouses across a 200-feddan project site in Najd. Implementation begins with site and water assessment and production-system trials, then expands based on results.

PRODUCT AND MARKET DEVELOPMENT

Date grading and packing

Explore grading and packing by variety, maturity stage and buyer specification, through a processing partner or a suitably sized unit. Raw-material quality and the target market shape the concept.

Before implementation

Confirm varieties and volumes, then test packaging, storage and food-safety requirements before selecting equipment.

Alfalfa and forage
WATER FIRST

Alfalfa project

A planned alfalfa (qatt) project using 10 irrigation pivots in Najd. Development phases will be shaped by soil suitability, the water balance and market requirements.

Measure water, energy and cost per tonne at a defined moisture content; national production figures do not predict project yields.

Irrigation and energy efficiency
SUPPORTING INFRASTRUCTURE

Irrigation and energy efficiency

Assess irrigation distribution, metering and control, alongside solar energy matched to operating loads. This supports production and may reduce costs where feasibility is demonstrated.

Before implementation

Start with measured flow, pressure and operating hours. Lower pumping costs do not justify increased water abstraction.

DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATIONS

From site assessment to expansion

These principles guide development plans; each project takes shape after its technical and commercial conditions are verified.

Water and soil

Water analysis covering salinity, sodium indicators and relevant ions, alongside soil, drainage and available and permitted water volumes.

Crop and trial

Select a variety, irrigation system and planting window for the site, then run a limited trial measuring crop quality, water, energy and labour.

Buyer and postharvest

Define specifications, packs and delivery windows; test crop-specific grading, storage and transport before committing volumes.

Expansion decision

Compare realised revenue, costs, losses and resource efficiency, and complete required permissions before approving a project.

The operating plan should include field, irrigation, fertilisation, pest-monitoring and harvest records, with product lot identification and hygiene and handling requirements to support traceability and quality review.

TARGET CROP

Alfalfa project. Cultivation with 10 pivots.

We plan to develop alfalfa (qatt) cultivation in Najd using 10 irrigation pivots, as part of our forage production plans. The concept links planting and harvest coordination with product preparation for buyer requirements.

CURRENT STAGE

Planned scope, phased implementation

Water, soil and feasibility studies and pivot layout will inform the cultivated area and implementation phases. No fixed area per pivot or production forecast is assumed before those studies are complete.

Sector totals cannot determine farm returns or hay output; product form, moisture content and production conditions differ.
